Register by the Early Bird deadline, December 14, to get the lowest rate on your conference registration! AMS members and AMS Adult Learner members also receive lower rates.
Discounts apply to registration fees only, and do not apply to additional workshops, events, or add-ons. The maximum discount is 30%. Discounts will be applied to paid registrations and issued as refunds.
Every 6th registrant will receive 100% off registration fees. In order to qualify for a group discount, the entire group must register and pay at the same time on 1 form. If an individual is added to a registration after the original group form is submitted and paid for, the group discount does not apply.
Volunteer tasks range from badge pickup to working in the exhibit hall. Volunteer for and receive 10% off your registration for each hour volunteered—the maximum discount is 30%. Shifts are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To express interest or request more information, select YES to the volunteer question on the registration form. Check back closer to the conference for cancellations or added opportunities!
Graduate Researcher Discount
Graduate students enrolled in a master's or doctoral program at an accredited college or university and actively engaged in conducting research related to Montessori education may be eligible for a $100 discount on their conference registration. Upon submitting the form, AMS will review your application within 2 weeks—we'll contact you only if there are any issues. Once your graduate student researcher status has been verified, AMS will create a conference registration for you, apply the discount, and you will receive an invoice for your registration.
Your application must be received by AMS by February 22, 2019; you may not request the researcher discount onsite.
AMS will award, to qualified applicants, a limited number of registration and travel grants and 10 registration-only grants for The Montessori Event 2019.
AMS is committed to diversity within the Montessori community. We encourage applications from global AMS members, people of color, LGBTQ people and other marginalized communities. We also encourage applications from first-time AMS annual conference attendees.
