The Montessori Event 2020 Registration Terms & Conditions

Manual Processing Fee:

An additional $75 processing fee is applied when paying by check and/ or paper registration.

Pre-Conference Cancellation

Requests for refunds must be in writing using this form no later than February 13, 2020 at 12:00 midnight ET. Refunds will be disbursed within 30 days after The Montessori Event (that is, by April 13, 2020). A $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from each cancelled registration. Exceptions on circumstance of force majeure with proof (e.g. birth certificate, doctor’s note, death certificate). Force majeure exceptions only valid up to 1 week after The Montessori Event (Sunday, March 22, 2020 at midnight ET). All force majeure exceptions will incur a $50 cancellation fee from the refunded amount.

Any request for cancellation either without force majeure after February 13, 2020 at 12:00 midnight ET or with force majeure after Sunday, March 22, 2020 at midnight ET will not be subject to any reimbursement. We require written evidence when force majeure is invoked for cancellation.

Onsite Cancellation

No onsite cancellations will be accepted. All cancellation must take place by February 13, 2020 at 12:00 midnight ET. Refunds will be disbursed within 30 days after The Montessori Event (that is, by April 13, 2020). A $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from each cancelled registration. Exceptions on circumstance of force majeure with proof (e.g. birth certificate, doctor’s note, death certificate). School Tours

There are no refunds for school tours. Exceptions on circumstance of force majeure with proof (e.g., birth certificate, doctor’s note, death certificate) by February 13, 2020 at 12:00 midnight ET. 

Registration Transfer

Requests for registration transfers must be in writing using the following link no later than February 13, 2020 at 12:00 midnight ET. After February 13 only onsite transfer requests will be accepted. Registration may be transferred from one individual to another individual. The invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant's membership status (PLUS Member, Basic Member, Non-Member) plus a $50.00 transfer processing fee to be paid upon receipt electronically. No rate adjustment on registration time-period. (Early Bird vs. Regular vs. Onsite). No checks will be accepted onsite

For example, if a Basic member registers during Early Bird registration (at $505) and then transfers their registration during the Regular registration period to a Nonmember ($705.00), the invoice will reflect only the change in membership status, as though it was registered in the Early Bird time period ($605), plus a $50.00 transfer fee. The resulting new invoice would have a balance of $150.
