Protecting Ourselves from Burnout: Part 1
Friday, March 05 | 04:30 PM - 05:15 PM
Session 2: Workshops
Stress and burnout are a real part of our lives. As Montessori educators, we stepped into the classroom out of our love for children and the ability to creatively serve their possibility. Yet as days are filled with constant decision making, tending to the needs of others, and facing parent concerns, financial uncertainty, going virtual, and teaching with a mask on, it’s normal to feel exhausted and lack motivation for our work. Join this interactive 2-part workshop, where we study the indicators of burnout, reflect on current research on stress management, and share ideas to safeguard our energy, so that our work remains transformative for the children and for you.
We will continue the conversation in Part 2, which takes place on Friday, during Workshop Session 3.
