Grace & Courtesy for a Normalized Classroom
Saturday, March 14 | 08:00 AM - 09:15 AM
Session 4: Workshops
The fundamentals of a responsive, smooth-running Early Childhood classroom lie in grace and courtesy. Knowing how and when to present a grace and courtesy lesson is a critical piece of establishing classroom norms and helping children through transitions. In this session, you will learn to identify classroom needs and respond to them with grace and courtesy lessons using positive, encouraging statements rather than correcting or nagging. As a result, you’ll support normalization, reduce chaos, and increase calm in your classroom.
