Assist with answering merchandise questions, managing lines, and restocking and organizing merchandise. Lines can be especially long during the keynote book signing time, so come prepared to be on your feet and helping attendees buy their keynoter book, or a conference keepsake.
Assist with setting up the exhibitor check-in area and materials, checking in the exhibitors, orienting them to the Exhibit Hall, and distributing materials. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet the hardworking and dedicated “people behind the products.
Work with AMS staff to check-in attendees and distribute name badges. You'll be on the front lines to welcome attendees, so this can be quite fast paced! A good opportunity to extend a friendly hello to individuals joining us from all parts of the world, and serve as one of their first conference connections.
Tote Bag Distribution
Work alongside Badge Pickup to handout conference tote bags to arriving attendees. You'll be on your feet welcoming attendees and restocking the table with program guides, water bottles, and other materials. You can expect to do a lot of bending, lifting, and reaching.
To thank you for volunteering your time at the conference, volunteers will receive 10% off their registration fees for each hour worked! The maximum discount is 30%. Discounts will be applied to paid registrations as a refund, or as an adjusted invoice.
