Music in the Early Childhood Montessori Classroom

Friday, March 05 | 01:00 PM - 01:45 PM

Session 1 Workshops
  • Specialized Content Area
  • Workshop
  • Early Childhood

Learn songs, dances, rhythmic exercises, and general music presentations that you can incorporate into your classroom on a daily basis, including during circle time and transitions. Discover how sequential presentations develop classroom morale, establish daily routines, support classroom management skills, and help create a normalized class. Don’t worry if you aren’t a musician—this workshop was designed for non-musicians so that we can all embrace the benefits of music and its importance in the Montessori classroom.
