AMS Community Care Initiative: Washington DC & Homelessness

Attendees of The Montessori Event will participate in service outings, collect items for the homeless, and share information about service learning projects in their schools.

Networking: Teachers

In this guided networking session, we will explore how we, as educators, experience inclusion in our classrooms—our values, expectations, sensitivities, strategies, and levels of tolerance and comfort—and what we can do to ensure that we are honoring and supporting every student.

Film Screening: “Inside Montessori”

Join us for a film screening of INSIDE MONTESSORI, followed by a Q&A with the directors. INSIDE MONTESSORI (formerly known as Building the Pink Tower) is a documentary film that shines a light on how Montessori schools are working to support children in communities across the U.S.

Research Poster Session

Review the latest findings in Montessori research by circulating among a display of project posters on a range of pressing topics. Research authors will be on hand, eager to discuss and explain their work to you.
