Practical Life in the Elementary Classroom
Friday, March 05 | 06:15 PM - 07:00 PM
Session 3: Workshops
Dr. Montessori saw the body and mind as coming together for the good of others. At the Elementary level, Practical Life can serve as the foundation for students to become “servant leaders” in their classrooms, their school community, and the wider world. In this workshop, you will revisit the true aim of Practical Life and its connection to education for Peace—and gain insight into how to prepare the Elementary classroom so children can form a rich and respectful community. You will leave with new ideas to inspire your students to change the world.
