In this presentation, you will examine psychogeometry, the brain-based methodology of the discipline of geometry, to answer questions about how brains learn, how motivation and interest develops, and how Montessori classrooms and materials foster the development of executive functions. Enhance your understanding of the spiraling continuum of geometry activities for Early Childhood through Elementary as we discuss how sensorial exploration leads to discovery and the role of the guide and the prepared environment in supporting the needs of a child.
