For: Credentialed Infant & Toddler teachers with Full Conference registration
CPD Hours: 11
In this 3-day symposium for credentialed Infant & Toddler teachers, you will work with a small group of peers in your chosen program level (Infant or Toddler). You will spend time ruminating about Dr. Montessori’s teachings; have long-form discussions; and work with a facilitator who will challenge you to reflect on and improve your classroom practices. There’ll be a forum where you can share best practices and learn from your peers.
A special focus on environmental design in Infant & Toddler settings will feature a faithfully recreated Montessori environment fully equipped with learning materials and furniture, where we will explore the relationship between philosophy, aesthetics, and functionality.
You will come away with recommendations for materials, resources, and books, leave having formed new connections to other Infant & Toddler educators, and return to your setting feeling more mindful with a richer understanding of your work and students.
This seminar is included with your Full Conference registration (Thursday – Sunday) at no extra cost, but you must register in order to participate. Only 100 spots available, so register early. Select “In Focus: Infants & Toddlers” as part of your online Event registration. If you are registering using the paper form, send an email expressing your interest in attending to firstname.lastname@example.org. Use the subject line “In Focus Registration.” We will let you know if there is still space, and if so, bill you accordingly.
